Common questions

Where is my data? On your device only. There is no account and no cloud. See the privacy policy.

How do I back up? Settings, then Export backup. Save the file somewhere safe, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive. To restore, use Settings, then Import backup, and pick that file.

I got a new phone. How do I move my journal? Export a backup on the old phone, save it to cloud storage or send it to yourself, then import it on the new phone.

Why don't I see anything in On This Day? It shows entries from this date in earlier years. Keep writing and it fills in over time.
